We at Scholarly Manager firmly believe that lack of funds should not be the barrier for open access publishing. Hence we have formed waiver policy for some authors who are unable to afford manuscript handling fees.
Eligibility Criteria for Waiver Policy
- Upon application, corresponding authors from Low Income Countries may be granted up to 75% waive. Please refer the World Bank list of Low income Countries.
- Upon application, corresponding authors from Lower Middle Income Countries may be granted up to 40% waiver. Please refer the World Bank list of Low middle Income countries.
- Waivers will not be applicable if the research is funded.
- The waivers will be acknowledged for students.
Procedure to apply:
- Corresponding authors requesting for the waivers must strongly demonstrate why their waiver application must be considered.
- Waivers and concessions will not be applicable once the manuscript is in the process.
- Please send the Waiver request the same day a manuscript is submitted.

- Reason for Requesting a Waiver

Scholarly Manager reserve the right to approve or reject the application for waiver. The decision will be communicated to the author within two weeks after application is received.
