Scholarly Manager Editors

Editor

Editors are entrusted with a complex responsibility of preserving the quality of the content and account for any received information, complaint or misconduct by the author or reviewer. Scholarly Manager advises them to adopt the following techniques.

Manuscript decision Editor has to ensure the overall quality by checking accuracy, completeness and clarity of research work. The acceptance or rejection of an article shall be decided by the Editor in consonance with journal practices
Fairness and Reliability Editor must base his decisions on scientific merit, relevance to the subject, scope of the journal and not financial or racial ethnicity of the authors
Secrecy All articles must be treated confidentially. The editor or his staff must preserve information related to the article only for the corresponding authors, reviewers, other editorial advisors and the publishers
Confession and conflicts of interest No manuscript received shall be used by the editor as his own work. Editors must not allow any conflict of interests between the staff, authors, reviewers and board members. The COPE flowcharts must be used in case of any misconduct or disputed authorship
Errata/Retraction of manuscript When notable errors are pointed out in any article, the Editor must publish errata pages or make corrections as soon as possible. In case of substantial errors, the paper should be withdrawn by virtue of retraction.
